Patience and Serendipity

“Be patient. Everything comes to you in the right moment.” This quote resonates with me on so many levels. As a very busy mother of three I often find it difficult to practice patience when needed. Patience seems so elusive; when dealing with my children when they misbehave, when my husband doesn’t do the chores I expect of him, even though I didn’t bother to actually ask him to, and when something unexpected disrupts my carefully scheduled, down-to-the-last-minute day. I try very hard to be more patient each day.

Margaret’s free Qigong and meditation classes have helped me in this quest. Qigong empowers students to quickly reduce pain and stress levels naturally. I find that when I use these techniques, my focus shifts from daily anxieties, enabling me to be more tolerant. Margaret’s guided meditations make me mindful to be more present, and to not sweat the small stuff.

Mindfulness allows me to be more open and embrace the possibility that everything will come to me in the right moment. Whether it comes in the form of  a chance meeting at the supermarket, an article on my Facebook feed, or even a vivid dream, my life is full of right moments that lead to unexpected successes. I sincerely hope that you all experience this serendipity too.
